Kepada semua pelawat-pelawat blog ini dan ahli kumpulan KU-Yahoo Discussion Group saya ingin menyusun jari sepuluh untuk memohon kemaafan di Hari Raya Aidil Fitri yang mulia ini di atas apa juga keterlanjuran kata di dalam tulisan saya yang telah menyingung perasaan saudara dan saudari.

The concept of "menyusun jari sepuluh" needs to be expunged from our vocabulary and our thinking. It is a symbol of how feudalistic and subservient we have been to those who have been lording over us.
We cannot move forward if in our minds there is till a need to bow our heads with palms of our hands meeting at our chests and expect "ampun tuanku beribu ampun, sembah patek harap diampun".
The Thais put their palms together vertically at their chests (or slightly below) when greeting each other as a sign of mutual respect, not as a form "please spare me my life" gesture...
